Our Story
At Greater Hope, we breed and train service dogs to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Our dogs are specially trained to detect cortisol level changes, aiding in interrupting craving-related behaviors and triggers.

Hi, I'm Doug. My life's mission is to champion mental health and recovery. In the mountainous serenity of Flathead Valley, Montana, I explore the outdoors with my loyal service dog companions. With an Associate's Degree in Assistance Dog Education from the esteemed Bergin College of Canine Studies, I've honed my expertise in service dog training. My dedication to this field is fueled by a vision of a world where service dogs and individuals struggling to maintain long term recovery unite, breaking down barriers and fostering inclusivity.
